Here's a beautiful curtain valance custom sewn by Karen's Bed & Bath.
Valances are sewn with a 1 inch header ruffle... however, if you'd prefer only a rod pocket on top (curtain is flush with the top of your curtain rod)... just let me know to skip the header ruffle and sew only the rod pocket on top. If you'd like any of the valances sewn together making a wider long valance, just purchase the amount you'd like sewn... then tell me to sew in sets the number you'd like in each set. (example: You purchase 8... 3 in one set plus 2 sets of 2 sewn together <4 total here in 2 sets of 2 each>... plus one single) They can be sewn however you'd like. If adding drapery lining, they will all be singles. Fabric bulk of lining and decorator fabric looks/sews better as singles when lining is involved. Valance(s) are unlined. Lining is available: white blackout or white 100% cotton drapery lining. If you need a 3" rod pocket, be sure to let me know. No charge for the wider rod pocket for those that have the wide curtain rods.... but you MUST tell me you'd like the 3" rod pocket (or wider if needed)

Each quality sewn valance is approximately 42" wide by 15" length including a 1" top ruffle and a standard rod pocket
To furnish a better valance fullness... valance should be 1.5 to 2x the width of your window
